Dear Colleague,

I warmly invite you to The Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Section of the BSSG which will be held on Friday 11th April 2007 at the Beardmore Hotel in Clydebank, near Glasgow.

Please meet at the Beardmore for 1:15pm and we will have lunch or a refreshment together in the Lounge Bar prior to the meeting.

The AGM will start at 2:00pm in the “BERWICK” meeting room. In attendance will be Ian Pearson, the BSSG Chairman and Chairman of the Scottish Section who will be only to happy to answer your questions or concerns you may have about the BSSG and the 2009 Symposium.

Please find enclosed the Agenda and the Minutes of the previous Annual General meeting which was held on the 27th April 2007 in the Glassblowing workshop at Aberdeen University.

The BSSG 2009 Symposium will be held at the Beardmore on 10th – 12th September 2009. This is an opportunity to see the Venue and take part in the planning and organising of the Symposium.
Previous Symposiums held in Scotland have been very successful. The Scottish Section will be Organising the event and there is something to do for everyone even if it’s just helping on the day. So please try and come along to support the Section and enjoy meeting other Glassblowers.
